Good Friday

Yesterday is a GOOD FRIDAY. It’s one of the important days for Christians.
Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday. On this day, Christians remember the day when Jesus was crucified on a cross .
Good Friday has different name in different countries.

Why it called GOOD FRIDAY?

The name may be derived from “God’s Friday’ in the same way that good-bye is derived from ‘God be wth ye’

What happened on Good Friday?

Jesus was arrested and was tried, in a mock trial. jesus was nailed to the cross.

Two other criminals were crucified with him,

Thier crosses were on either side of him. A sign abovesus read “The King of the Jews”

What happened on Good Friday today?

Some Christians fasting on Good Friday. Many Church organise special event in the evening and arrange praying during a day.

It is traditional to eat hot cross bun on Good Friday.
